Biography

Fr David Cortis, OSA, graduated in B. Commerce in 2000 and in 2002 graduated in B. Accountancy (Hons) from the University of Malta, with the dissertation: The applicability of social auditing in the Maltese Co-operatives. He worked as an accountant and an auditor, both in Malta and abroad with KPMG; one of the top-four international audit firms. In 2013 he graduated in Sacred Theology (S.TH.B) from the University of Malta. In January 2016 he obtained a Licentiate in Moral Theology and Pastoral Theology from the Pontifical University of Comillas in Madrid, with the dissertation entitled Moral Signification of Wealth: A comparison between wealth in the Gospel according to Luke and wealth in contemporary capitalism.
He is a member of the Department of Moral Theology as an Assistant Lecturer.
