The sacraments are central to the Christian faith and act as visible signs of God’s grace and an invitation to deepen our spiritual journey. This course is designed for parents to deepen their understanding of the sacraments particularly the Eucharist and Confession, not only to enrich their own faith but also to pass on these values to their children. The concluding seminar will be an opportunity for reflection, discussion and activities for parents to encourage the transmission of faith within their family.

Target Audience Age: 18+

This course comprises pre-recorded lectures, which can be accessed on the Moodle platform at a time and pace that suits you. The lectures will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to the Seven Sacraments
  • The Sacrament of Confession
  • The Sacrament of the Eucharist
  • The Sacraments of Confession and Eucharist in Scriptures
  • Sunday Mass – Participating as one family
  • The Sacrament of Confession as a sacrament of joy

An in-person Seminar will be held on Sunday 1st February 2026 between 9:30am till 12pm at the Iklin Parish.

This course has one exit certificate option:

The student will receive a Certificate of Attendance when attending this course.
