The aim of this course is to ensure that pastoral operators who offer their service in the diaconia sector remain aware of new emerging realities in the field.
The topics chosen for this year were priorities indicated by the parish priests themselves. The course offers both input from professionals working in the field, as well as space for the participants themselves to discuss. In addition, this short course helps the participants to become equipped with essential knowledge, skills, and attitudes which are crucial to offering a good service in today’s world.
- Pastoral operators, staff, or volunteers who work in a parish, diocesan or lay;
- Persons who listen and accompany colleagues and friends on a regular basis at their workplace, within their family, etc;
- Pastoral workers, volunteers, or those who are in contact with persons or families in need, or those who visit residential homes.
Target Audience Age: 18+
Below please find this year`s programme. We are aware that some of you might have recurrent commitments on Tuesdays. Keep this in mind, the meetings are offered on the last Tuesday or Thursday of the month. Thus, giving a chance to those who cannot attend on Tuesday the opportunity to attend the Thursday meetings instead.
The in-person meetings will be held in various parishes, in order to take the opportunity to meet different communities and their realities. We appreciate and are thankful for the effort each parish makes in order to have a representative present for every meeting.
