This course explores the essence of evangelization and the call to missionary discipleship in the contemporary world. Through biblical, theological, and pastoral perspectives, participants will deepen their understanding of the Church’s mission and the vital role of the laity in bringing the Gospel to all people. The course begins by examining the fundamental question: What is Evangelization? exploring its meaning, purpose, and relevance in today’s world. It then delves into the journey of Becoming Missionary Disciples, emphasizing how discipleship is not just about personal faith but also about active participation in the mission of the Church.

A crucial part of evangelization is ‘the Encounter’, where we examine the Biblical Context of Salvation and how the narrative of salvation history informs and inspires missionary outreach today. This leads into a discussion on the Role of the Laity, highlighting the laity’s unique vocation within the People of God. The course further expands into Ecclesiology: The Church on a Mission, exploring the Church’s identity as a missionary community and the laity’s role in shaping the modern world.

Individuals seeking to grow in their call for evangelisation.
